When you are setting up multiple units the
Stuart® Undergrad hotplate stirrers are ideal,
rather than spending time screwing in numerous
retort rods, the Undergrad range have been designed
to not only take retort rods, but also accommodate a
standard retort stand underneath. And when it comes
to packing them away, they have cleverly been designed
to store on their side, this allows the units to be neatly
and safely packed away taking up less space.
Other clever features like our LED temperature indicator,
which lights up to show the approximate surface
temperature and hot warning light that will continue to
work even once the unit has been unplugged from the
mains make the Undergrad units the obvious choice. All
units are supplied with BioCote® antimicrobial protection
and a standard three year warranty. (See page 36 for
