Holographic Recording Media
Growing data storage capacity from hundreds of gigabytes to tomorrow's
terabyte levels.
New-generation holographic recording media utilizes a three-dimensional
recording system in which holographic data (interference patterns) is
recorded beyond the surface, through the entire depth of the medium.
Page data recording makes it possible for a million bits to be written and
read out as two-dimensional data in parallel with a single flash of light.
Multiplex recording can store multiple pages of data in the same
location at very high density deeply within the medium.
Extra-high storage density is realized by disk design compatible with
InPhase Technologies' Polytopic multiplexing method.
Simple disk structure – recording material sandwiched between two
clear substrates.
Recording layer maintains archival data integrity for over 30 years.
Exceptionally flat optical disk is made possible by Maxell innovation
based on InPhase's Zerowave™ disk bonding technology.
Extraordinary precision with superior coordination throughout an extra-
efficient mass-production process.
Exclusive light-tight cartridge protects photosensitive recording layer
from external light.
