range of applications, such as ENG, EFP, editing &
transmission, etc.

Maxell DVCPRO is also compatible with DVCPRO 50
and DVCPRO P formats.

Maxell's special binder system ensures long-term
durability when the tape is used in extreme ENG/EFP
environments and demanding playback modes, such
as still and shuttle.

Maxell's unique 0.1µm New Ceramic Armor Metal
Particles and a new calendering technology result in
improved short wavelength output, decreased noise,
and minimized spacing loss with the head.

D-5, the 1/2-inch component digital format, utilizes its
high data transfer rate of 301Mb/s for realizing
uncompressed component picture for standard
definition TV, and its low 1/4 compression rate
achieves superior picture quality for high-definition TV.
■
Maxell's unique 0.1µm New Ceramic Armor Metal
Particles exhibit a high magnetic energy, and a new
calendering process for optimizing tape surface
smoothness realizes higher short wavelength output
and decreased noise.
■
Employs a patented SW (Smooth Winding) reel which
maintains extremely precise tape winding.
