Notes: 1) These discs should be used in DVD-RW video recorders.
2) These discs may not be compatible with some DVD players or drives. Compatible DVD loading software is
required to load a disc (recorded upon using a recorder) on the disc drive.
3) DRW47BDV is a 2X speed DVD-RW disc. Be sure to use this disc in a recorder that supports 2X speed media.
Due to a defect in certain DVD-R/RW recorders that do not support this disc, using this disc may result in
damage to these recorders. For details, refer to Maxell's website, or contact the manufacturer of the DVD-
R/RW recorder or drive that you are using.
4) DRW47BDV is compatible for CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media).

2) Maxell's DVD+R discs that conform to the new standards for 16x writing-speed recording are for use in
DVD+R/+RW drives that conform to using 16x writing-speed DVD+R discs. Use of these discs in some
manufacturers' 2.4x or 4x writing-speed DVD+R/+RW drives that do not conform to 16x writing-speed discs
may cause writing errors or damage to the recorded data. A firmware update is required prior to using 16x
writing-speed DVD+R discs on these particular drives.
